Shopping and a dinner

Joan and Jan at Happy Hour
Another great day in the San Antonio neighborhood.

After a morning workout I watched as the 25 Quebec RV units pulled out of the park, five at a time.
When we got cleaned up we drove into downtown San Antonio and picked up Jan and Norm for an afternoon of shopping and fun. We had planned to have dinner at Augie’s Barbeque Restaurant, but when we got there it was as closed as a trap.

Another false start at a restaurant that didn’t seem to exist in another part of town, we headed back to the Hungry Farmer where Joan and I ate the first night we were here.
William's moccassins
Following dinner we drove back to the hotel and went inside and sat with our friends at the manager’s reception until about 7:30 p.m.

We left about 8 p.m. and headed home. Tomorrow we are going on a wine tasting tour in the Hill Country. We're also going to tour the World War II Naval Pacific War Museum in Fredericksburg, Texas.
Joan picked up a new pair of moccasins for my son William at the North Star Shopping Center north of San Antonio during the afternoon shopping spree. (See photo).
